This drawing contains the crest of the unit it is depicting and this is a classical feature in these military drawings. The shading on the soldier is very dark and is very good at making the character more 3-D and realistic. The folds in the clothes he is wearing are very intricately drawn and this is also a classical feature in this style.

This piece is a very good composition and I like the way the gun barrels stick out of the picture. The map of Afganistan is a good background which is important and also there is an air unit behind which appears in many of the drawings including the one above. |

The blue tint in this picture is good and colour and greyscale pencil is what I may include together in my piece. The lettering is very military in style and I will be thinking of similar style lettering for my poster. |
This is very patriotic and the eagle is watching over the soldiers. It is a common symbol in these drawings and I think one would look good incorporated in my design. |

This is a slightly fainter drawing with less shadow but is still effective. It has the classical badge in the center and similar lettering to the style which would be appropriate in my poster. I also like the line of distant men. |
I really like the eagle symbol in this badge and it is the best I have seen of all the badges. The picture also shows all different aspects of the special forces. |

I really like the way the guns on the left are pointing at you because it grabs you and draws you towards the picture because it makes it seem more real. Notice again the folds on the arm and the helicopter in the air. |
The pencil in this piece is very strong. It shows the badge in the center and where the sections of the force come out of the badge, eg. an anchor, there is a soldier from that section. This is a good idea. |

This is a very good drawing. The badge is encorporated into the design and your eye is drawn from the helicopter along a line of men to the forground soldier because of a very good composition. There is fine detail for example the vein on the arm of the front soldier which hilights the heat of the action. |
