I like the way there is a tree in the foreground in this picture. It makes you feel you are inside it and not just looking at a photo.

This is a very symetrical composition and I will try not to have this.

This shows mountain peaks just breaking the clouds. Again it shows the light and shadow of the snow and rock.

Here there is greenery in the foot hills and it gets more rocky and snowy as you go up. I will try to also include reflections but not this strong.

The colours in this undergrowth are very vibrant and set off the painting. I want to include this to brighten up my painting.

I like the light and shadow on the mountains and the trees in the foreground have character.

This is a good photo of snowy mountains and foot hills. It shows how mist can create distance.

There is alot of distance in this picture brought about by layers in the picture.

This is all blue. He uses no black on his mountains and I will not do this either.
